Courage

The light was so ethereal and unusual that I had to step out on my back patio and snap this photo of a blossoming apricot tree against the sky. Taken near sunset on a shower-soaked spring day in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A filter or two was applied to this photo to make it even more impressionistic. It was used as a CD cover to a private compilation of healing music I listened to following a life-changing tragedy - hence the title.
