Rejuvenation

Composed for the last of three CD covers memorializing my mother. The yellow iris in the photo were "inherited" from my mother's garden.

I gave this piece a different treatment, bumping the saturation and contrast to extremes and adding a little posterization to create the vivid, surreal quality that draws the eye and imprints on the mind - just as the memories of people who shape our lives do.
