What IS "Wetware"?

Wetware consists of two words that make up a complex abstract construct that is difficult to define. May the creators of the term forgive me for my ineptness, but my understanding is that the "wet" portion of this concept refers to the organic tissue that makes up a sentient being, in particular the brain and central nervous system. "Ware" is the "bio-cybernetic software of the mind" (cf. Rudy Rucker).

Basically, as I see it "wetware" is the essence of who and what we are, and how we perceive ourselves. It is the magic of our being.
